Laura Mercier Cabana Nail Lacquer

What happens when you have such great friends? You get beautiful limited edition nail polish.

So I just happen to be coming home from my trip when my friend informs me that she had brought me back a souvenir from her trip to SF. I immediately yelled at her, through text, and hoped it wouldn't be crazy. Of course she had to overshadow my souvenir, which looks like poop next to this. Anyways, thanks to her I have this lovely nail polish on my fingers =)
I applied two coats and this wonderful color came about. The color is a coral/pink with hints of peach. It has a gel finish and unfortunately even with top coat dried so slowly. Although that might my top coats issue. But I found that even after it dried it scratched.
But I really like this color. It complements my skin tone very well and is perfect for the spring and summer season. I've never tried any Laura Mercier polishes but these seem promising. My friend also got me Sizzle which I hope to swatch and review soon.

These retail for $18 and can be found in Nordstrom. But I hear they're running out so better get them while you can.

  2. Ahhh, I love this shade on you! You're right, complements your skin tone perfectly and it's just so peachy and summery, without being overly bright. Though I guess it would be better if it was quick drying as well, I hate having to wait ages for polish to dry as I have no patience :p

    1. what do you use for your top coat? i have no patience for drying as well, i always end up with a slight dent or scratch.

    2. I don't actually use top coat that often, but when I do I just use Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in "Invisible". I have the exact same problem, especially as I tend to pile it on quite thick to get a smooth/even finish :p
